October 10, 2011 Hydration Testing & Team Cook Out Walton High School Wrestling will conduct Hydration Testing on Saturday, November 5 at 10:45am at Marietta High School. More information will be provided at practice the prior week. After the test, we will meet at Walton for a Team Cook Out with grilled steaks, baked potatos, and all the fixins! October 3, 2011 Mandatory ImPACT Concussion Testing This year all Walton High School athletes are required to take (and pass) a pre-season ImPACT concussion test. This test serves as the baseline to guide diagnosis, treatment and recovery from any future concussions. All wrestlers are required to take the test. If a wrestler has already completed the test for another sport (i.e. Football), they do not have to repeat this baseline testing. The test will take approximately 20 minutes, and should be taken in a quiet, comfortable environment. Practice will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 5:30-7pm, September 13 - October 26, 2011. For more details and a registration form, visit our Fall Practice / Conditioning webpage. Coach Phillipps will be leading weight training on Monday and Thursday afternoons, 4-5pm, September 1 - October 27, 2011. All wrestlers not participating in a fall sport at Walton are expected to attend. August 28, 2011 Walton Jr. Wrestling Registration Sessions Scheduled Walton Jr. Wrestling will be conducting registration sessions on Sunday, September 25, and Sunday, October 9, at 2:00-5:00pm, in the Walton High School Wrestling Room. Coaches, parents and wrestlers will be on hand to answer questions from potential wrestlers. August 28, 2011 Walton Wrestling Orientation Meeting and Kickoff Dinner Scheduled Walton High School Wrestling will be holding its annual New Wrestler Orientation Meeting on Tuesday, September 27 in the Walton Commons beginning at 6:30pm. Our annual Kickoff Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 18 also in the Walton Commons beginning at 6:30pm. August 28, 2011 Walton Wrestling Butcher's Choice Group Sales Days Updated Walton High School Wrestling will be conducting two additional Butcher's Choice Group Sales Days this year on Saturday, September 10, and Saturday, October 1.
